Kata Beach
Just south around the headland, quiet and secluded Kata Noi
is more low key. A few shops, local restaurants and one or two
bars give a feeling of being off the tourist track. One hotel
- the Kata Thani - forms the focus of the beach, although there
are a few small guest houses tucked away nearby. At the south
end is a small coral reef but care must be taken in the low
season. Don't expect much action, but it's very peaceful and
if want to go shopping or a have a night out, Kata Yai is only
5 minutes away. |
